Home Sweetest Home

If the idea of a floating house conjures up thoughts of coolers filled with Bud Light on the edge of Lake Havasu, think again.  (Have we been watching excessive reruns of the Real Housewives of Orange County?) This un-humble abode, designed by MOS architects Michael Meredith and Hilary Sample, is built atop the waters of Lake Huron in Ontario. At 1,700 square feet, it floats on a structure of steel pontoons (click through for more images). So far, it remains in various stages of construction, but the house has already traveled about 80 kilometers about the lake. Think Chic Report can rent it out for parties?
