Lilly Pulitzer has always been a cheery shade of green and pink, but as of late the label has tipped the scale on the green side. On the heels of the brand’s 50th Anniversary comes the “Lilly Loves Green” campaign, which will run from November 8th to the 15th and work in tandem with America Recycles Week. Lilly’s “Originals” collection will feature a capsule of items that are all eco-friendly sustainable in concept, and during this green campaign shoppers are encouraged to donate cocktail dresses for other girls to choose from for their prom and other special events. For every dress donated, customers will receive a $10 credit towards their next “Originals” purchase. Lilly Pulitizer is really on a roll when it comes to ingenuous ideas; we are also loving the label’s collaboration with Lesportsac to bring you three classic Lilly prints in whimsical Lesportsac totes, travel bags, backpacks, and (our favorite) a sleek tennis racket case. Like Lilly, Lesportsac is celebrating a milestone anniversary this year—its 35th. On behalf of Chic Report, we wish the labels a very happy and whimsical birthday!
