Chic Paris Awards!

Now that we had a full weekend to process all of your wonderful Parisian achievements, Chic Report’s decided to give you some well-deserved insider honors. Enjoy!

Fountain of Youth Award: Suzy Menkes for sitting with the best of the club kids at Jeremy Scott and dancing with them at Fendi.

Recession Be Damned! Award: Karl Lagerfeld for splendidly pulling off three parties–Chanel, Fendi, and Collette–then overseeing a Grand Palais maze set we may never forget.

Longest Meurice Lobby Phone Convo…Ever Award: Rolf Snoeren (of Viktor & Rolf) for chatting ad infinitum while Viktor Horsting patiently waited at the bar.

Best Show Prop Award: Live white horses at Moncler

Best Supermodel Flashback Moment Award: Tatjana Patitz at Hermès

Most Low-Key EIC Award: Alexandra Shulman of British Vogue–swear we saw her front row at like six shows!

Kanye West Award for Exhaustive Front Row Appearances: Milla Jovovich. Chic has to admit Jovovich probably analyzes fashion better than 75 percent of market editors.

Anna Piaggi Award for Extreme Fashion: Anna Piaggi

Longest Milan / Paris Passage Award: J. Errico and Dani Stahl. The lovable duo arrived in Paris on time…eventually. Their excruciating journey involved a train–not a plane–and you’ll just have to guess what happened between Milan and Paris to cause them so much temporary, chic grief.

Ab Fab Award for Most Memorable Head-to-Toe Ensemble: Anne Della Russo. The runner-up is Emmanuelle Alt, who borrowed Russo’s Balmain confection at one point.

RIM Award for Supreme Connectivity: Kate Lanphear…and her trusted Blackberry

Most Hardworking Publicists Award: Angela Mariani and Karla Otto

Corporate Courage Award: Nina Ricci for spending a good million euro on a pricey and very editorial farewell collection.

Best Model Citizens Award: Tanya Dziahileva for landing great looks at her shows, booking Chanel and Vuitton for the first time and triumphantly closing Galliano. Coco Rocha for fighting a pregnant actress on the Gaultier runway. Carmen Kass for having a very graceful Paris comeback. Charlotte di Calypso for pulling off the most complex outfit of the week at McQueen.

Most Model Abusive Beauty Award: Dior (eyebrows), McQueen (lips), Givenchy (hair)

Good Sport Award: Amy Astley for switching rooms in middle of night to survive Kate Mossnon-stop partying ways.

American Designer Award: Elise Øverland with her gorgeous suite at the Ritz that inspired editors to wear her leggings with pride.

Celeb Congeniality Award: Freida Pinto, who everyone instantly fell in love with.

Best Lost Luggage Survival Story Award: Zanna Roberts who looked fantastic during early Paris days regardless.

Best Backstage Snacks Award: The panna cotta at Vuitton and chocolate covered cherries at Lanvin

Most Dubious Achievement Award: Lauren Santo Domingo’s pursuit of off-the runway Hussein Chalayan boots by having her own Brian Atwood boots remade at New York’s Leather Spa. We’re confused–how exactly did she accomplish all of this from her Paris apartment in a matter of 24 hours?

Best Show Nobody Actually Saw Award: Antonio Berardi

Alex de Betak Production Genius Award: Alex de Betak for his Russian fairy-tale work on Galliano, Moncler and statuesque effort at Viktor & Rolf. No wonder there was a documentary crew chronicling him during the week!

Most Passionate PETA Protesters Award: The legions at Galliano and Gaultier. Interestingly, both designers featured a lot less fur this season than seen at shows where PETA wasn’t present.

Strangest Absence Award: Cecilia Dean and Joanna Coles
