At the New York screening of 21 last Wednesday, all anyone could talk about was star Kate Bosworth’s insanely flawless lipgloss (the movie and her costume changes were pretty fabulous, too). We immediately chased down Kate’s makeup artist, Patti Dubroff, who revealed that she used Dior Ultra-Gloss Reflect in Coral Lame. Be first in line when the gloss hits counters in April!

Okay, so it’s official: You can buy anything on the Internet, even a drink for your local or out-of-state friends. Belvedere just launched www.BuyYourFriendABelvedere.com, where Chicaholics can purchase a drink (or several) in select cities. The friend is notified by mail, e-mail, or text and then just finds a bar in their area to redeem it. Slip the code or drink card to your bartender and enjoy! Right now, the program’s got the most supporters in New York, L.A., Chicago and Washington D.C. but more outlets are on the horizon. And if you know anyone in Biloxi, MS, Belvedere’s got them covered too, courtesy of the Hard Rock’s Rise Lounge!

We have, thanks to James Jeans. They have pioneered the ultimate way to pamper your blues: By treating them with microdermabrasion. A special crystal wash uses the same method used by derms to remove dead skin. As the jeans are washed, crystals render the fabric flawless—as if it had visited Dr. Pat herself. The best part? All four styles (Harold, Patrick, Mickie, and Humphrey) are wrinkle-free. THE DETAILS: $185-$194, available at jamesjeans.com.

It’s a grey day here in New York, and a few errant Chic Report-ers are in less-than-chic fare. (Think purple tights, dresses from ‘01…you get it.) We’re toying with the idea of heading up to Bergdorf Goodman to pick up this fabulous little outfit from Bamford, a British label known for gorgeously hand-made clothing. The raw, natural textures and easy shapes require a minimum use of chemicals, which is good for the earth and probably our skin, too. There’s something about this chic trench over a washed faille skirt that makes a lot of sense during these tricky transitonal weeks. THE DETAILS: Silver microfibre/silk drawstring parka, $2,195; laser-cut silk skirt, $2,795; available at Bergdorf Goodman, 754 Fifth Avenue, New York, (212) 753-7300.

Kate Bosworth stunned on screen and in person last night at the Cinema Society’s screening of 21 with Calvin Klein at the IFC Center. But she had another reason to celebrate the evening’s partnership with Calvin Klein given her brand new billboard for the Calvin Klein Jeans campaign. “Everyone’s been asking me if I’ve seen it the big Houston billboard and I haven’t yet!” Bosworth shared with Chic Report. “I have to check it out! My friend sent me pictures. It might just happen once in my life! I’ll pull out the pictures one day and show my kids and say see!”

For New Yorkers who crave fine dining there’s no greater or better icon than incredibly successful Daniel Boulud. We asked the celebrated chef his take on nourishing summer eating: “My suggestions for healthy is eating in fine dining restaurants – look for menus with great main course salads, especially at lunch. These dishes provide the wonderful produce of the season along with the satisfaction and fulfillment you want in a meal. This means salads that have plenty of vibrant greens and crisp crudités but also usually include something a little more substantial such as a small amount of lean fish, meat, or cheese and a dressing with plenty of flavor. As late spring approaches we always update our lunch menus with these kinds of dishes. It’s the kind of healthy but delicious eating our fashion conscious clientele want during the warmer months. Café Boulud on Manhattan’s Upper East side has a particularly chic clientele of ladies who lunch!”

We Chic Report-ers have long been rabid fans of By Terry’s incredibly elegant makeup and skincare line (our love of the glow-inducing Light Expert Perfecting Foundation Brush borders on obsession). Legendary makeup artist and former YSL Beauty creative director Terry de Gunzburg has truly outdone herself with her new creation, By Terry Rose de Rose Sheer Liquid Blush. Blended with extracts from actual rose petals, this sheer tint gives cheeks a totally romantic, lit-from-within flush. Rose de Rose hits counters in June, and comes in the following shades: Fresh Rose, a pure pink; Corail Rose, an apricot shade; and Amber Rose, a pinky-bronze.

As any celebrity makeup artist worth her starry rolodex would attest, the road to flawless-looking skin is paved with good primers (for the uninitiated, a primer smoothes dry patches and oily spots, creating an even canvas for makeup application). Enter Chanel’s new Sublimage Essential Regenerating Concentrate, a primer/serum that combats fine lines and dullness while giving your complexion a silky, baby-smooth feel. We hear that Chanel makeup artist Angela Levin doesn’t allow foundation within a foot of Marion Cotillard’s face until she’s first prepped her skin with Sublimage! If it’s good enough for our favorite chicette…

Tinsley Mortimer is largely known for three things: her blonde ringlets, her Samantha Thavasa handbag collection, and being big in Japan. But starting in May, the social star can add beauty maven to the list! As a Dior Beauty Ambassador, Tinsley’s introducing Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Reflect in Tinsley Pink, a limited edition lip gloss created and inspired by her signature flirty, feminine style. Sold exclusively at Saks, the sheer, powder-pink shimmer is gorgeous worn alone or layered over darker shades. A percentage of the proceeds will go towards Operation Smile, one of Tinsley’s favorite charities.

“I shall drink water…it’s a mixer, Pats. We drink it with whiskey.” Ever since one of our favorite fashion personalities, Edina Monsoon uttered this pearl in the first season of AbFab, we knew water would enter the Chicaholic vocabulary. And our search for hydration (in addition to inebriation) lead us to Penta, the latest member of the luxury water market. According to a study by dermatologist Dr. Jean Krutmann and the Environmental Health Research Institute “skin cells cultured in Penta water had significantly less damage from ultraviolet radiation than skin cells cultured in plain water.” What does this mean for you? Anti-oxidative and anti-aging effects, all in one. While the company has commissioned The University of California, Davis to continue studies, why not pick up a case to stock your bar? Either way, you’ve got a lovely mixer, sweetie darlings!
