Ivanka Trump enjoyed an evening at the movies last night during the Cinema Society premiere of New Moon, but there was no Mr. Kushner hooked to her shoulder. Where was hubby Jared? He was also taking in a show…at the Armory for the Victoria’s Secret Angel Show. Sorry, Ivanka…the Angels called!

Andrew Bevan is perennially adorable. At last night’s Cinema Society screening, he reminded Chic of one of our other favorite characters–the legendary Fred Flintstone.

After the glittery madness that is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the revelry will rage on as friends fête the event at the after-party. There will be plenty of Angels hopped up on sugar and diving into the red velvet cupcakes by Baked by Melissa and Chicaholics sipping on Stoli Angel Elixir. Want to brew up the treat on your own? Try this ethereal recipe…

1 oz Stoli Gala Applik
3 strawberries
Sprinkles of vanilla sugar
Rose sparkling dessert wine

Muddle strawberries and vanilla sugar.  Add Stoli Gala Applik, shake well and strain into a flute.  Top with rose sparking dessert wine. Garnish with edible gold dust & pink aphrodisiac rose petal.

On the day when the all the talk is about VS Angles, a trio of timeless supers manage to hold their own with this Kayt Jones’ cover of i-D. Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen and Claudia Schiffer all posed buff and proud for the winter edition of the magazine.

Going green has never been chicer, and now Pratt Institute is turning the spotlight on sustainable design. “Ethics + Aesthetics = Sustainable Fashion” opens today at the school’s Manhattan Gallery at 144 West 14th Street (2nd floor), guest-curated by fashion theorist and independent curator Francesca Granata and textile conservator Sarah Scaturro and featuring work by SANS, Uluru, Loomstate, Bodkin, Alabama Chanin, SUNO, and Slow and Steady Wins the Race, and by designers and artists Susan Cianciolo, Kelly Cobb, Tiprin Follett, Zoe Sheehan Saldana, and Andrea Zittel. The looks above, by (left to right) SANS, Bodkin, Alabama Chanin, and Tina Tyrell for SUNO are made of materials like undyed tencel and post-consumer recycled polyester, organic and recycled cotton, and tussah (or wild) silk.

The lovely Chic Report contributor Lonneke Engel is being honored in a way that you’re not. Our gal has been nominated for Holland’s Sexiest Vegetarian of 2009 by this Dutch organic website!

The Angels have descended again, and so it must be that time of year…The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is in full swing, and we are antsy to see what colorful confections await us inside Park Avenue Armory. Doutzen Kroes, Miranda Kerr, Marissa Miller and other winged supers will sail down the runway in perilously high Guiseppe Zanotti heels. “This is the first time we’ve worked with Giuseppe, and I hope to work with him again, because I think the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is a strange creature,” explained VS show stylist, Charlotte Stockdale. “It is couture-esque in the sense that apart from the lingerie, every single thing is custom made.” Par exemple, while a pair of heels may exist in a leopard print, you will only find the pale pink pony hair version stomping down the VS runway on the feet of an Iman or a Lima. The spectacle will take flight live this evening, and you can catch the recorded version while cuddled up on your loveseat December 1st on CBS.

Who knew you could get so sporty–literally–in your Sportmax? The little sister of Max Mara put on quite the performance last Thursday in the second installment of the brand’s collaboration with Sebastien Agneessens of Formavision and musician Kyle Fischer. Acclaimed choreographer Jodi Melnick took to the New York boutique’s space for a performance…while wearing a look from the Fall 2009 runway collection.
